The Process at a Glance
As said, the process consisted of four parts, research, brainstorming, writing, and storyboarding. All four of these parts are crucial to the film-making process. The research provides a space to look at all kinds of films, television shows, plays, etc and decide which one best fits yourself and what you prefer. The brainstorming provides time to further explore what was researched in a more personal sense and allows you to inquire about your own script. Then there's the writing - this consists of many drafts and reviewing. This includes review from peers or mentors. Then, there's the story boarding - the approach I took was drawing out a rough idea of each different angle in a scene. Story boards can be used for pitches or just to get a more visual sense of what you're trying to create.
