The Final Script

The final screenplay was something that took months of work. It started by plotting out what each act would entail, and then drafting, drafting, and drafting again.

Going over my work until I was happy with it was crucial to ensure there was nothing not of interest. It also allowed me to add extra scenes if I felt the need to - this is shown if a scene number changes from what typically would be the next number to #A (ex. 2 = 1A). This is used to add in another scene in the editing process without having to renumber the whole screenplay.

Something that hadn't crossed my mind in the first drafts and I only added it in the last two was the soundtrack.  What is a film with no soundtrack? However, while I was creating a list of possible songs, I realized that they needed to be time-period accurate. This allowed me to research into the top hits of 2005-2006, with some earlier 90's songs mixed in.

In the end, I ended up with work that I was proud of and enjoyed making, which at the end of the day, is all that mattered.
